Armagh Planetarium

On Wednesday 4th May, the primary 6 and 7 pupils visited the Armagh Planetarium which linked with their World Around Us topic of 'Space and the Solar System'.

The pupils experienced some of the amazing attractions the planetarium has to offer, including the digital theatre and exhibition areas. They gained an insight into what life is like beyond our planet by taking a rollercoaster ride through our solar system and neighbouring planets. As if that wasn't enough, they built their own model rockets and blasted them off into the sky.
