All the staff and pupils would like to express our sincere thanks to Frank Johnston and friends, who kindly donated a beautiful new bench and a Mud Kitchen for our pupils, in memory of Mrs. Mary Kennon, a much loved former teacher who taught here from 1914–1957.
A big thank you also to Cllr. Oonagh Magennis, who organised everything, as well as to our former Principal Bernard Kennedy for his support.
We were delighted to welcome PJ Mackin, Mrs. Kennon’s nephew, along with his grandchildren, to receive these thoughtful gifts on the family’s behalf.
The children will get so much fun and enjoyment from these wonderful additions to our school.
