As part of our 'Recycling, Reusing & Reducing' topic this term, we made wormeries to show how worms move up and down the compost waste. The worms help to improve the soil with their tunnelling. They mix the soil and pull the waste down into it.
Check out the photos to see how after a few days the layers of sand have been mixed with the soil and compost.
